To Drink or Not to Drink?

As I mentioned, I'm cruising at 39,000 feet from Houston to Akron-Canton (Ohio in case you are clueless- Canton is where the Pro Football Hall of Fame resides, as well as 4ft of snow from December thru March haha)...

For some reason Delta does not seem to keep Kahlua in stock...ya'know, to make a White Russian..? Ohhh, but they offer me Baileys Irish Cream. As if I have a choice if I want milk to drink, right? So of COURSE I will take it, is the 'flight attendant' serious?? My choice is Baileys or straight milk? Ehhhh, give it herrrrre already!! WOW. And then you have these Biscoff cookies. Can someone PLEASE get me the address of the person who came up with this recipe?? The cookie & the drink go perfect together- who am I kidding...so for a mere $14 (they charge $7 a drink but it's TWO bottle of liquor- rum & Baileys) I can spend at least 3/4 of my trip tipping & sipping (hehehe I've always wanted to say that!!)...

Anyone out there know what this drink is called- IF it has a name at all??

I can tell you from personal experience that drinking a little Baileys in one's milk makes for an easy natural sleep-aid. HEY NOW, I am not talking stumbling into the bedroom & waking up laying cross-ways on one's bed!! People take so many prescription drugs for sleep aid when maybe something more simple (and NOT synthetic) would help & did I mention NOT synthetic & natural? If you are under 21 in the USA and/or an alcoholic (hey, you have to say that these days!( I suggest you not try this at home...or anywhere for that matter. All others, tip & sip! :)

And my choice to drink while in-flight is brought on for no other reason than 1. I enjoy the taste of creamy milk- prob the reason I enjoy mocha cappuccino's! and 2. to relax. Yes Buspar (an anxiety medication) would do the trick but then I find myself grabbing a cup o'joe while still on the ground, breaking off a quarter of a Buspar & STILL ordering that $14 non-white Russian (would a Russian take that as a racist comment by chance??)!! What happens then is a sure bet (and see, now I am sounding like a gambler!)- I am wired from caffeine, talking quietly AND to myself AND tipping & sipping LOL Yes, I tell ppl this who comment about my drinking. No I have not ventured to 2 drinks- oh my, that would be $24, FOUR of those little bottles (which some ppl get THE biggest kick out of & save haha...ok, I admit I used to be one of them LOL)...but anyone that knows me can reference my lack of ability to consume alcohol. Hey, I would order a Modelo Especial but it's not an option! Who of you will go see what THAT is? First one gets to post their find...

Ready...

Set...

GO!

Drink Responsibly whether in the air or on the ground, because eventually, you gotta walk to your final destination & it's a long way down from where I am sitting at the moment! ;)

The Wait Has Ended...

...off the cuff & on the level--for now anyhow :)

Although this is informal, short & to the point (very unlike me)...I wanted to get it out there so when the good stuff begins to flow, some of ya'll are 'following' me already :))

I am dedicated to keep this particular blog up & already have
a cache of idea's & even old things I have written & stories I have put down on paper in the past to share...and discuss!!

I am SO excited to 'get it out'!!
You are more than welcome to follow my All in the Family blog which
I started a couple years ago...it was a trial & I will probably keep it up for family. It has just gotten to where what I want to *SAY* on facebook is TOO MUCH information...and being long-winded, such as I am...YES REALLY!!!

I am currently cruising at 39,000 feet on a Delta flight en-route from Houston (IAH) to Ohio (flying into Akron-Canton CAK) to be picked up with my friends- more of why, when & how will follow as you catch up... But I can say this, I am TOTALLY excited to see my friends & break bread with them at The Golden Pig as it has become my most favorite local dive! (south of Pittsburgh, in Cecil) Yong, the owner, has taken to me & I to her- I've spent a Sunday with her shopping The Market District on her only day off, blahblahblah, thats another post hehehe BUT it's fair to say that Yong & I have gotten to be pretty good friends :)) I will be super-happy to see her smiling at me & feel her arms wrap around me, welcoming me back & her earnest & heartfelt curiosity of who my friends are & what is she feeding us :)) I hope that my friends Wrennifer, her husband Meester Mike & a friends I've known since Girl Scouts in gradeschool, DiAnne are HUNGRY because chances are we will be ordering half the menu by golly!! YUM!

We went house-hunting while in the Houston area. If you aren't dedicated to one area it
's exhausting driving about- it makes for good bonding time to be sure & having a 14month old grandbaby princess makes it all that more detailed as it's a feat to keep her entertained in the backseat from 10am till after 5pm...and being that is my preference (to be in the back seat with herrrrr) I find I need to be prepared with a 'Grannie Bag' although we will be utilizing a 'GiGi Bag'... hey, what about "iGiGi"...I come equipped- and with a bit more practice it's a gig I am hopeful to perfect heheheThe house-hunting went...wellll...as good as house-hunting can go. We aren't strapped with any REAL hardships in the hunt itself as the market is pretty defined & anything remotely close to what we would WANT to live in- somewhat to what we would purchase or build, is running near 4K a month. I mean, SERIOUSLY?? Rent at 4K? We aren't in San Fran, LA or Manhattan- it doesn't matter what kind of money we would make, I don't think, even property you aren't around to care for or REALLY know how to run is just not...worth it...if you ask me- but you didn't...this is MY blog HAHAHAHA :P

Here is little of what we saw:
I know the husband would like at least 15acres. I could deal with up to 30 but I can tell you- the entrance, the drive to the house itself, that landscaping around 'living' area's like a gazebo by a pond or dock...HA! Aside from that, I have no interest in being responsible for it...so if it can't take care of itself, don't come to me when the cows get out & expect me to corral them back into the area from whence it came OR fix the fencing where they may have 'escaped' from LOL I doubt that cow police or fence maintenance is found in the yellow pages. Just sayin!! We are putting our recent hardship of loosing the BnB in writing attached to our credit report while submitting applications- (one so far!) So it's very humbling & this is a good time to begin blogging! For right now I may copy ramblings & blubberings over to my other blog but, I am on a roll & do not feel like I am going to do that much, if at all once I am 'up & running'...

Welp, Here I Am & this is whats going on- I don't plan on making this a diary of day to day ramblings- although I do plan on writing about specific topics... I have a FB & my closest friends & relatives would be bored to DEATH seeing a repeat on this blog and BESIDES, if you aren't on my FB, then YOU would be bored to death instead of laughing, disagreeing, inspired or indulging in 'on the level' and off the cuff stuff right here...about right now :)

If it's any consolation, my aim is not to create a blog focused on religion, poli
tics, etc BUT that doesn't mean I won't ever post something that is on my mind in regards to either religion OR politics, NOR am I going to promise that a specific topic won't lead to a conversation about religion, politics, etc... I know me & I believe there is enough idea's for blogs running through my brain to keep me pretttttttyyyy busy!

HOWEVER, as a sinner, I feel I am held to being accountable to being Christ-like!
Y'knowWhatImeanVern?
That does NOT mean I am being judgmental to anyone else- just I am being 'hard on myself' in my own personal views of how things work in my own view of my world...you are welcome to come along :)
My truth may not be what your truth is but where two or more are gathered
...we can always search for the truth together :)

In fact- I dare you!!
And nooo, f
or you naysayers- saying I am not dedicating this to Jesus Christ, my Lord & Savior- that doesn't make me a hypocrite because of course I dedicate all I do to His glory but, in the realm of the peeps & peepettes I am directing this towards, family, friends, 'strangers'...
I do not want anyone feeling they have com
e here & wonder if they are hung up with some crazy Bible loon-Everything in moderation for some, but for me, I gulp the good stuff.
..and I
hope you find this such that YOU are gulping.

And don't judge too harshly, I have only just begun!
By the way- there WILL be a book, it's already in the making...so, know you may well have heard it HERE 1st :) That all means to getcha'som now by 'following' me...not just with an email either...come on, don't be shy now!
